Low Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAH)
Carbon black is a substantial component of most rubber goods, playing an important role in the processing of rubber compounds by delivering a variety of performance properties to the end-use product.
Tanto as agências reguladoras da União Europeia (UE) quanto as empresas têm tomado medidas para reduzir a concentração de hidrocarbonetos aromáticos policíclicos (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, PAH) em peças de plástico ou de borracha comercializadas na UE após 27 de dezembro de 2015. Tais artigos de plástico e de borracha incluem equipamentos esportivos, itens domésticos, ferramentas, roupas, sapatos e acessórios, bem como brinquedos e itens de cuidado infantil.
Além disso, vários países possuem regulamentações em vigor ou em andamento para restringir o teor de PAH em negro de fumo usado em peças de borracha que entram em contato com alimentos e água potável.
Como resposta às mudanças nos requisitos do mercado, oferecemos uma série de negros de fumo com PAH baixo para ajudar você a ficar em conformidade com as novas normas e, ao mesmo tempo, atender aos exigentes requisitos dos produtos de uso final.
